NanoBio’s two lead product candidates, NB-001, a topical treatment of herpes labialis, and NB-002, a topical treatment for onychomycosis, form the foundation of the Company’s anti-infective product portfolio.

Several additional anti-infective products are in preclinical development and research stages, including treatments for genital herpes, herpes zoster, occular and vaginal infections.

The products enabled by NanoStat technology have excellent safety profiles and carry virtually no risk of drug resistance due to their unique mechanism of action.  Safety and drug resistance are two important concerns that have caused the FDA to limit the usage of the current products available for both herpes labialis and onychomycosis.

The absence of side effects and low risk of drug resistance offer significant regulatory and competitive advantages for NanoBio’s products.  NanoBio’s core products have proven to be extremely safe in trials completed to date and have the potential for significant efficacy.
